2015 JUNO Nominations [News]

The JUNO Awards allow us to recognize and celebrate Canadian musical artistry and achievement. Canada has an abundance of talented artists and this award unites elements from every genre ranging from rock, pop, country, to hip-hop and everything else in between. The much anticipated 2015 JUNO Nominations are finally available and we have the scoop.

It was definitely a great year for Canadian music and this is proven with this brilliant group of nominees.

The Rap Recording of the Year nominees are Saukrates, Tre Mission, producer Marco Polo, P. Reign and Naturally Born Strangers. Also Ben Stevenson, Jacksoul, JRDN, Melanie Durrant and The Weekend are up for R&B/ Soul Recording of the Year.

Some other Urban announced nominations include: Drake for JUNO Fan Choice with “Hold On, We’re Going Home”; The Weeknd is nominated for Album of year; Sonreal is up for Video of the Year with “Preach”; and lastly Henry ‘Cirkut’ Walter is up for Songwriter of the Year.
