With the 2016 JUNO Awards only a few months away the nominees have been released. This year marks the 45th year of the awards which will take place in Calgary, Alberta on April 3. Among some of the stand out hip-hop related nominations is Drake who is nominated for 5 JUNO’s including rap recording of the year for “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” and single of the year for “Hotline Bling”. Drake is joined in the category for Recording Of The Year by BadBadNotGood & Ghostface Killah for “Sour Soul”, k-os for “Can’t Fly Without Gravity”, Kardinal Offishall for “Kardi Gras Vol. 1: The Clash” and SonReal’s “For the Town EP”.
