Excitement Builds As NBA All-Star Weekend Approaches (Feb.12-14) [News]

With NBA All-Star Weekend less than few weeks away, the excitement surrounding it is growing. Every year the event brings together the best of the best of NBA players as well as countless celebrities to whichever city is hosting it. This year is especially something to look forward to for Canadian fans because the All-Star Weekend is taking in Toronto, which is the first time it will be held outside of the United States. In addition to the games, All-Star Weekend takes place at the Air Canada Centre between February 12-14 and will bring a slew of parties and special events to The 6ix for fans to enjoy.

When it comes to most things Toronto, Drake is usually involved in some way and All-Star Weekend is no different. A few weeks back it was announced that the 6ix god himself would be the coach for Team Canada in Celebrity game. He will be joined by assistant coaches Steve Nash and José Bautista and team members Natalie Achonwa, Win Butler, Rick Fox, Stephan James, Tracy McGrady, Milos Raonic, Drew Scott, Johnathan Scott and Kris Wu. Drake and Team Canada will be going up against Kevin Heart who will be coaching Team USA and team members Anthony Anderson, Chauncey Billups, Muggsy Bogues, Nick Cannon, Elena Delle Donne, Bryshere Y. Gray, Michael B. Jordan, Marc Lasry and Jason Sudeikis. If you’re lucky enough to be in Toronto why not check out some of the many events going on during the weekend including the celebrity game, the rising stars challenge, the countless after parties or even the main event, the East vs West game.
